Monday, May 21 Shavuot/Yizkor

  • Administrative Office & Gift Shop Closed in observance of Shavuot. No Preschool/Kindergarten, Parent-Tot Class, Mah Jongg Play or B’nai Mitzvah Class.

Tuesday, May 22

  • Talmud on Tuesday, 6:00pm
    The Talmud is an extensive compilation of teachings and opinions of thousands of rabbis over the centuries, covering matters of Jewish law, ethics, philosophy, history, customs, and more. We are currently studying Tractate Shabbat. Learn about the law and lore in the Talmud with Rabbi Robert Eisen as we dig deep into living Judaism. Open to all. No charge to attend.

Wednesday, May 23

  • “Gentle Chair Yoga” – Wednesdays, 9:30–10:30am
    Focus is on increased balance, strength and flexibility in a supportive group setting. Meditation and deep relaxation at end of each class leaves participants with positive healing energy and uplifted spirits. Dress comfortably. Members of Women’s League: $6 per class; non-members $8 per class. For more information, contact Evelyn.

  • Weekday Torah Study Group, 11:00am
    Informal and lively study discussion led by Rabbi Robert Eisen. (Occasionally lay-led.) Open to all. No charge to attend.

Thursday, May 24

  • Preschool/Kindergarten Closing Ceremony, 11:30am
    Includes a special musical presentation by the children.
     
  • Preschool/Kindergarten Early Dismissal, 12:00noon

Saturday, May 26

  • Summer Shul – Saturdays, May 26 – July 28, 9:00am
    A more intimate Shabbat Service held in the Rabbi Breger Hall instead of the sanctuary to enable us to set a different mood and to find our worship strengthened by our togetherness.

Monday, May 28 Memorial Day

  • Administrative Office & Gift Shop Closed in observance of Memorial Day. No Mah Jongg Play or B’nai Mitzvah Class.
