Wednesday, January 2

  • “Gentle Chair Yoga” – Wednesdays, 9:30–10:30am
    Focus is on increased balance, strength and flexibility in a supportive group setting. Meditation and deep relaxation at end of each class leaves participants with positive healing energy and uplifted spirits. Dress comfortably.   • Weekday Torah Study Group – Wednesdays, 11:00am
    Informal and lively study discussion led by Rabbi Robert Eisen. (Occasionally lay-led.) Open to all. No charge to attend.​

Saturday, January 5

  • "Read It & Meet" Book Discussion, approx. 12:00pm
    Join us as we discuss My Mother’s Son by David Hirshberg, with moderator Phyllis Broad. Book discussions are held once a month and are open to everyone. We discuss selected books by Jewish authors or with Jewish content, and share our experiences, reactions, and ideas. Moderators facilitate each discussion. For more information, contact Helen.
     
  • Shabbat Afternoon Torah Study, 3:30pm
    Open to all, this is an opportunity to become more involved in “living Judaism.” Lay-led. No charge to attend. Torah portion: Va'era

Sunday, January 6

  • Blood Donor Drive with the American Red Cross, 9am – 2pm
    Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. Receive a free long-sleeve Red Cross t-shirt when you donate (while supplies last). We welcome donors ages 16+ and, of course, volunteers.   • Men's Club Breakfast, 9:30am, in Rabbi Breger Hall
    All are welcome to share their Jewish experiences, anecdotes & vignettes as part of “Roots of My Judaism.” Includes our delicious breakfast buffet. There is no charge for Men’s Club members; guests are always welcome for $4. For more information, contact Eric.
