Simhat Torah Celebrations – Oct. 24-25, 2016

Simhat Torah Dinner & Celebration
Monday, Oct. 24, 5:30pm
Bring the whole family! Event co-chairs Felicia Cohen, Monica Rudner & Abigail Tolby invite you to enjoy a deli dinner (vegetarian option available) in CAI’s sukkah with sangria, wine & beer, and Shirley Temples for the kids; followed at 6:13pm by a joyous Hakafot with Israeli singing and dancing with the Torah; and dessert, coffee & tea. Simhat Torah Celebration & Lunch
Tuesday, Oct. 25, 9:00am
Come and continue the celebration with another round of dancing and Torah! The service begins in the Epstein Chapel for adults; a family program, “Why Are We Dancing?” will be held in the Cantor Falkow Lounge simultaneously. Then back to the Epstein Chapel for a dramatic re-enactment around “Mt. Sinai” & creative Hakafot. Following the celebration, all are welcome to enjoy lunch in the Rabbi Breger Hall (potato bar with Russet & sweet potatoes & lots of toppings, an array of salads, & sweets).
