Monday, October 10

  • Parent-Tot Class – Mondays, Oct. 10 & 31, 9:00 – 11:00am (not held Oct. 17 & 24)
    Open to the public, this FREE weekly class for children up to 24-months in age and their parent(s) is a great way to meet other parents, exchange experiences, and provide an opportunity for the children to play together and engage in age-appropriate activities. We also read a book from PJ Library twice a month. Facilitated by Gabby Erbst, various experts from different fields of child development and child-care will visit to share their expertise and provide opportunities for discussions. Feel free to bring your friends; it’s open to everyone! (PLEASE NOTE: We have a mandatory vaccination policy.) For more information, contact Lynne Falkow-Strauss.

  • Preschool/Kindergarten & Administrative Office Closed; NO Yoga Class, Torah Study Group or Senior USY

Saturday, October 15

  • Shabbat Afternoon Torah Study, 3:45pm
    Open to all, this is an opportunity to become more involved in “living Judaism.” Lay-led. No charge to attend. Torah Portion: Ha'azinu

Sunday, October 16 Erev Sukkot

  • Religious School, 9:00am
  • Community Sukkot Dinner, 6:00pm
    It’s a mitzvah to eat in a sukkah! Share a hearty harvest dinner of green salad, meatloaf, smashed potatoes, seasonal vegetable, fresh fruit and dessert in CAI’s sukkah with your congregational family. Includes a special program: “The Bread of (and for) Our Harvest” sponsored by Nadines Bakery. CAI members: adults (ages 13+) $14; children $8; guests: adults $18, children $12.
