Community Sukkot Dinner
Sunday, Oct. 13, 6:00pm

The Festival of Sukkot is celebrated for a number of different reasons. It is, however, first and foremost, a harvest festival. As part of our observance the First Night of Sukkot, we will take a break from our fields and hear Dr. Richard Green, astronomer at the UA Steward Observatory present “Moonshine is More Than a Drink … Legal or Otherwise!" and speak about the connections we can have with this holiday. As we bask in the light of the “Harvest Moon” he will help us explore: Sukkot – What did we harvest? And, why now?

It’s a mitzvah to eat in a sukkah! Share a dinner of cranberry chicken, wild rice, seasonal vegetable, salad, fruit and dessert in CAI’s sukkah with your congregational family. (Vegetarian option available upon request.)
CAI Members: adults $15; child (2+) $10. Guests: adults $20; child (2+) $15. RSVP needed by Oct. 7.
