Parent-Tot Class, continuing Mondays, 9:00 – 11:00am
Open to the public, this FREE weekly class for children up to 24-months in age and their parent(s) is a great way to meet other parents, exchange experiences, and provide an opportunity for the children to play together and engage in age-appropriate activities. We also read a book from PJ Library twice a month. Facilitated by Amanda Stark, various experts from different fields of child development and child-care will visit occasionally to share their expertise and provide opportunities for discussions. Feel free to bring your friends; it’s open to everyone! (PLEASE NOTE: We have a mandatory vaccination policy.) For more information, contact Lynne Falkow-Strauss. -

A “Mitzvah Moment”
Our congregation has volunteered to help Pantano Christian Church, 1755 S. Houghton Rd (between 22nd St. and Golf Links) with its childcare on Christmas Eve, Sunday, December 24. The specific need is for our volunteers to help their “lead teachers” who will be in each room, along with a few of their folks. Pantano Church will plan out all of the singing, craft time, games and lessons; your role is just to engage with, and love on, the children in your class. The need includes people to cover programming for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and older preschoolers. Our presence will allow that many more of their families to worship together at this, one of their, most sacred seasons. There are four shifts to fill: 12:40-2:15pm; 2:40-4:15pm; 4:40-6:15pm; and 6:40-8:15pm. If you can help, please contact Tamara.
