Monday, Sept. 4 Labor Day

Wednesday, Sept. 6

  • “Gentle Chair Yoga” – Wednesdays, 9:30–10:30am
    Focus is on increased balance, strength and flexibility in a supportive group setting. Meditation and deep relaxation at end of each class leaves participants with positive healing energy and uplifted spirits. Dress comfortably.   • Adult Education Kollel (Class): “Living Y/Our High Holy Days… Together” – 3-week series concluding 7:15-8:15pm
    Rabbi Robert Eisen presents “Bound to Wonder! The Binding of Isaac as Told by Josephus” – Why it and the story as a whole matters

    Parents with children currently enrolled in the school meet with the Parent Action Committee & teachers to go over the curriculum.

Saturday, Sept. 9

  • K’Ton Time, 10:30am
    This fun & lively 20-minute service led by Gabby Erbst & Marcy Friedman includes songs, prayers, stories & games; playground time for kids & schmoozing time for parents; kid-friendly kiddush. Geared to families with kids ages 1 to 6, but every family is welcome!

  • Shabbat Afternoon Torah Study, 4:30pm
    ​Open to all, this is an opportunity to become more involved in “living Judaism.” Lay-led. No charge to attend. Torah portion: Ki tavo

Sunday, Sept. 10

  • Lynne Falkow-Strauss Courtyard & Foyer Dedication and Welcome Back from Summer Party, 10:00am
    Help us celebrate when you join us for the dedication of the “Lynne Falkow-Strauss Courtyard & Foyer” and Welcome Back from Summer Party. Gather and greet on the newly refurbished courtyard; explore the new paver path, enjoy refreshments and entertainment for the kids; followed by the dedication ceremony honoring Lynne Falkow-Strauss; culminating with brunch and schmoozing: Share food and fun with family and friends, outdoors or in; check out the newly remodeled foyer; school playground open for the kids.
