CAI is proud to announce its eighth year of this program that uses Jewish teachings to help pre-teen and teenage girls make healthy life choices. An informal setting, small group size, and carefully designed activities create a fun and meaningful experience, which strengthen their Jewish identity, leadership skills and self-esteem. All Jewish girls in 6th through 9th grades who live in Tucson and the surrounding area are welcome to participate. The groups meet at CAI in the Linda Roy Youth Center four times a year. At our meetings, we talk about things such as friends, siblings and parents; we create art, do skits and yoga; cook, dance and eat; and hang out with other Jewish girls. Teenage girls participating in RHIAGT! across the country love the fact that it's like their own special club. (Parents are not allowed at meetings.) There is NO CHARGE for the program. This program is sponsored by The Jake and Goldie Silverman Foundation and Congregation Anshei Israel. For more information – how you as a Jewish girl, or your daughter or a friend, can become a part of this exciting program, contact Ori Parnaby.
