• Talmud on Tuesday, 6:00pm
  The Talmud is an extensive compilation of teachings and opinions of thousands of rabbis over the centuries, covering matters of Jewish law, ethics, philosophy, history, customs, and more. We are currently studying Tractate Megillah. Learn about the law and lore in the Talmud with Rabbi Robert Eisen as we dig deep into living Judaism. 

Wednesday, August 3

• "Gentle Chair Yoga" – Wednesdays, 9:30-10:30am
  Focus is on increased balance, strength and flexibility in a supportive group setting. Meditation and deep relaxation at end of each class leaves participants with positive healing energy and uplifted spirits. Dress comfortably. • Weekday Torah Study Group, 11:00am
  Informal and lively study discussion led by Rabbi Robert Eisen. (Occasionally lay-led.) Open to all. No charge to attend.

Friday, August 5

• Tot Shabbat, service 5:45pm in Sanctuary; dinner 6:15pm
  Special Kabbalat Shabbat Service for young families to welcome the Sabbath with stories and songs, followed by kid-friendly Shabbat dinner. $25 per family (2 adults & up to 4 children). Additional adults $10 per person. RSVP by Aug. 1 to Kim at 745-5550, ext. 224 or edasst@caiaz.org

Saturday, August 6

• "Summer Shul" concludes, 9:00am
  A more intimate Shabbat Service held in the Rabbi Breger Hall instead of the sanctuary to enable us to set a different mood and to find our worship strengthened by our togetherness.

• Shabbat Afternoon Torah Study, 5:15pm
  Open to all, this is an opportunity to become more involved in “living Judaism.” Lay-led. No charge to attend. Torah Portion: Mattot-Mas'ey

Sunday, August 7

• Summer Film Series concludes, 7:00pm
  Free and open to all! Enjoy a movie, popcorn and lemonade and the pleasure of spending a few, cool moments in the shadow of each other’s presence. Stay after each showing for a casual discussion of the film. Tonight's film: The Pawnbroker
