Monday, May 16

  • Open Mah Jongg Play, 10:00am – 12:00pm

  • B'nai Mitzvah Class, 4:00pm

  • CAI's 85th Annual Meeting & Awards Celebration “al-OY-ha,” 6:00pm
    CAI members are invited to come dressed in their Hawaiian shirts, muumuus, grass skirts or other tropical garb and receive a free gift! The evening includes dinner of pineapple chicken and rice, & "Chai-tais," beer and soft drinks, followed by meeting with reports from Board of Trustees, the year in review, election & installation of officers & Board of Trustees, plus special volunteer/tribute awards. No charge to attend, but RSVP needed. Contact Debra for space availability. 

Tuesday, May 17

  • Parent-Tot Class, 9:00 – 11:00am (last day; resumes Aug. 16)
    Open to the public, this FREE weekly class for children 9- to 24-months in age and their parent(s) is fun and educational. Facilitated by Stacey Singer, participants sing songs, make art projects, read stories, have a snack, and share parenting advice with each other. PLEASE NOTE: We have a mandatory vaccination policy.   • Adult Choir Rehearsal, 6:00pm
     
  • Talmud on Tuesday, 6:00pm
    The Talmud is an extensive compilation of teachings and opinions of thousands of rabbis over the centuries, covering matters of Jewish law, ethics, philosophy, history, customs, and more. We are currently studying Tractate Megillah. Learn about the law and lore in the Talmud with Rabbi Robert Eisen as we dig deep into living Judaism. 

Wednesday, May 18

  • "Gentle Chair Yoga" – Wednesdays, 9:30-10:30am
    Focus is on increased balance, strength and flexibility in a supportive group setting. Meditation and deep relaxation at end of each class leaves participants with positive healing energy and uplifted spirits. Dress comfortably.   • Weekday Torah Study Group, 11:00am
    Informal and lively study discussion led by Rabbi Robert Eisen. Open to all. No charge to attend.

    Includes special musical presentation by the children.
