The ninth day of Av, mentioned in Zechariah 8:19 as the “Fast of the Fifth” month, commemorates such national calamities as the destruction of both Temples, the fall of Bar Kokhba’s fortress, Bethar, and the expulsion from Spain in 1492. Tisha’B’Av is a time for mourning, communal loss, reflection, repentance, and the hope for rebuilding and redemption. Join us for services as we observe Tish’a B’Av:

Join us for a spiritually-moving Shabbat Sovev Service full of community and melodies sung to traditional liturgy using Israeli melodies.
