  • Adult Choir Rehearsal, 6:00pm
    Do you like to sing? CAI Adult Choir wants you! New singers welcome! Open to all adults who have an interest in Jewish music and enjoy singing. The repertoire will include a full spectrum of Jewish music, both liturgical and secular. Rehearsal and performance dates will be given out at this rehearsal.   • "Read It & Meet" Book Discussion, approx. 12:00pm
    Join us as we discuss Forest Dark by Nicole Krauss, with moderator Sara Ross. Book discussions are held once a month and are open to everyone. We discuss selected books by Jewish authors or with Jewish content, and share our experiences, reactions, and ideas. Moderators facilitate each discussion. For more information, contact Helen.

  • Shabbat Afternoon Torah Study, 3:30pm, Torah Portion: Vayiggash
    Open to all, this is an opportunity to become more involved in “living Judaism.” Lay-led. No charge to attend.

  • Blood Donor Drive with the American Red Cross, Jan. 5, 9am – 2pm in Cantor Falkow Lounge
    Every two seconds someone in the U.S. needs blood. Give a gift, get a gift. Receive a long-sleeved Red Cross t-shirt when you donate (while supplies last).   • Men's Club Breakfast, 9:30am in Rabbi Breger Hall
    Guest speaker Dr. Richard Green, astronomer at the UA Steward Observatory will present “Cosmology & Jewish Thought.” Cosmology is the science of the origin and development of the universe. Dr. Green will discuss the scientific aspects of the theory of evolution and a Judaic approach to these aspects. Brunch is free for Men’s Club members; guests $4 per person. Please RSVP to Eric.
