“Gentle Chair Yoga” – Wednesdays, 9:30–10:30am
Focus is on increased balance, strength and flexibility in a supportive group setting. Meditation and deep relaxation at end of each class leaves participants with positive healing energy and uplifted spirits. Dress comfortably. Women’s League Paid-up Membership Lunch, 12:00pm in CAI’s sukkah
All current members of Women’s League, those considering membership, and friends and family are invited to thank our many wonderful Gift Shop volunteers and the women of CAI’s administrative staff. Free for paid-up Women’s League members, all Gift Shop volunteers, and female CAI staff. Guests, including spouses, are welcome for $10 per person. If you are not currently a member of Women’s League and wish to become one, you may do so at this event. As a member of Women’s League, meet incredible women, feel good helping others, and have great learning experiences. (Annual membership dues $36.) Men’s Club Breakfast, 9:30am
Members of CAI's Men's Club and Religious School fathers will prepare a delicious breakfast of eggs, waffles and yogurt sundaes to share with Religious School students and parents in the Synagogue's sukkah. Following breakfast, the kids will go back to class and adults may attend a Parent Havurah/Discussion Group in the Cantor Falkow Lounge led by Rabbi Robert Eisen. The topic is, "The Jewish Holidays Then and Now," a reflection of adults' childhood celebrations and comparison to today's practices. No charge to attend. Contact Lew for more information.
