Wednesday, October 3

  • “Gentle Chair Yoga” – Wednesdays, 9:30–10:30am (not held Sept. 19)
    Focus is on increased balance, strength and flexibility in a supportive group setting. Meditation and deep relaxation at end of each class leaves participants with positive healing energy and uplifted spirits. Dress comfortably.   • Weekday Torah Study Group – Wednesdays, 11:00am
    Informal and lively study discussion led by Rabbi Robert Eisen. (Occasionally lay-led.) Open to all. No charge to attend.

Friday, October 5

  • Tot Shabbat Service & Dinner, service 5:45pm, dinner 6:15pm
    Join us for a special Kabbalat Shabbat Service for young families to welcome the Sabbath with stories and songs, followed by a kid-friendly Shabbat dinner. $25 per family (2 adults & up to 4 children). Additional adults $10 per person. RSVP needed for dinner only to Kim.

  • "Read It & Meet" Book Discussion, approx. 12:00pm
    Join us for the first “RIM” of the new year as we discuss The Lost Letter by Jillian Cantor, with moderator Rachel Green. Book discussions are held once a month and are open to everyone. We discuss selected books by Jewish authors or with Jewish content, and share our experiences, reactions, and ideas. Moderators facilitate each discussion.     Our lives would not be the same without our pets! They are such a part of our lives: a presence in our homes and in our hearts; companions in times of joy and comfort in times of pain. Everyone is welcome to join us – with your pet(s) safely leashed or caged – for a brief service to recognize how important our pets are to us.
