Monday, July 2

  • Summer Camp for Kids continues thru July 20 (no camp July 4); Mon-Fri; Full days 9:00am – 3:00pm; Half days 9:00am – 12:30pm; Before/After Care 8:00-9:00am and/or 3:00-4:00pm daily $8 per child, per hour.
    All children 2- to 6-years-old welcome! Each camp week a different theme: Sports, Art & Music, Outdoors, America the Great, Science and Around the World. Also kids can enjoy water play, stories, music, creative movement, playground time and more. Secure facility with a beautiful, park-like shaded playground. Snacks provided. Tuesday, July 3

  • Talmud on Tuesday, 6:00pm (not held today)
    The Talmud is an extensive compilation of teachings and opinions of thousands of rabbis over the centuries, covering matters of Jewish law, ethics, philosophy, history, customs, and more. We are currently studying Tractate Shabbat. Learn about the law and lore in the Talmud with Rabbi Robert Eisen as we dig deep into living Judaism. Open to all. No charge to attend.

Wednesday, July 4 U.S. Independence Day

  • Administrative Office & Gift Shop Closed in observance of U.S. Independence Day. No Summer Camp, Yoga or Torah Study Group.

Saturday, July 7

  • “Origins” Kiddush, approximately 12:00noon after Shabbat service
    Tables will be arranged so people can sit with fellow congregants from the same areas of the US (and beyond!) while they enjoy kiddush. Find out who else is from “your neck of the woods”!
  • Shabbat Afternoon Torah Study, 5:30pm
    Open to all, this is an opportunity to become more involved in “living Judaism.” Lay-led. No charge to attend. Torah Portion: Pinhas

  • Men’s Club Focus Group, 9:30am in the Library
    Scott Lewis will present “Are You a Real Man?” What does it mean to be a “real man” anyway? Has anyone told you to man up? We want to hear your perspective as a man. Share your views and hear what other men have to say. How does being Jewish impact your manhood? What are your biggest concerns and frustrations as a man? The event includes a breakfast of lox, bagels, fruit, sweets and beverages, which is free for all Men’s Club members & $4 for guests. Feel free to bring a friend. RSVP to Mark Levine.
  • Summer Film Series, concludes 3:30pm • Hester Street
    Enjoy popcorn and lemonade as we share a few, cool moments in the shadow of each others’ presence. Bring your family… bring your friends. It’s all free!
