Monday, April 24

  • Parent-Tot Class – Mondays, 9:00 – 11:00am
    Open to the public, this FREE weekly class for children up to 24-months in age and their parent(s) is a great way to meet other parents, exchange experiences, and provide an opportunity for the children to play together and engage in age-appropriate activities. We also read a book from PJ Library twice a month. Facilitated by Gabby Erbst, various experts from different fields of child development and child-care will visit to share their expertise and provide opportunities for discussions.     The Talmud is an extensive compilation of teachings and opinions of thousands of rabbis over the centuries, covering matters of Jewish law, ethics, philosophy, history, customs, and more. We are currently studying Tractate Megillah. Learn about the law and lore in the Talmud with Rabbi Robert Eisen as we dig deep into living Judaism. Open to all.   • “Gentle Chair Yoga” – Wednesdays, 9:30–10:30am
    Focus is on increased balance, strength and flexibility in a supportive group setting. Meditation and deep relaxation at end of each class leaves participants with positive healing energy and uplifted spirits. Dress comfortably.     Join us to celebrate as our 3rd Grade Religious School students lead our Friday night Shabbat service for the congregation and receive their very own copy of our siddur. This very special evening celebrates our students’ Hebrew and Judaic accomplishments.

    Join us as we show our solidarity with The Land, with our people, in honor and celebration of “Tucson Celebrates Israel: Jerusalem 50 Years United.” Israel Is Real … And So Is Our Relationship with Her.   • USY “Step-up” Day, 12:00pm
    All kids 3rd – 12th Grades are invited to learn about CAI’s exciting youth programs. Step up and experience the next level. Whether USY is new to you or you’re in Kadima moving to Junior USY, or Junior USY moving to Senior USY, this is going to be fun! Be welcomed into each group via age-based experiential activities and stations led by Senior USY advisors. Lunch included! It’s all free, but we ask that you RSVP to Rabbi Barkan by Apr. 24.
