"Read It & Meet" Book Discussions

Do you have a favorite book you'd like to share ... one by a Jewish author or with Jewish content? Our "Read It & Meet" Book Discussions are held once a month and are open to everyone! We discuss selected books and share our experiences, reactions, and ideas. Occassionally, we have an "author-in-residence" as a special guest.
Most book discussions take place Shabbat afternoons (exceptions are noted below) following Kiddush with the congregation (approximately 12:00 noon). Moderators are needed to facilitate each book discussion. If you would like to suggest a book, act as a moderator, or would like more information, please contact Vicki at
vickauf@juno.com or Rayna at rgellman@cox.net.

Purchase books (and more!) through
Amazon.com's Associates Program and
Congregation Anshei Israel receives
from 4% to 8.5% in compensation.
It's easy! Click on the link above.

2010 - 2011 Reading List
Planning Meeting
Monday, May 24, 2010
10:00am • CAI's Library

Help us plan a reading list for the coming year. Let’s share our favorite books by Jewish authors or those that have Jewish content.
Or, help add to our list one you may have heard of, but haven’t had a chance to read yet.
Please plan to bring titles and brief summaries
of 2 - 3 books and feel free to bring a friend …
the more, the merrier!

Saturday, June 5, 2010
