Special Kabbalat Shabbat Service for young families to welcome
the Sabbath with stories & songs. |
|
Summer Shul
continues
|
Saturdays through August 14, 9:00
am
Shabbat Service is moved into Rabbi Breger Hall instead of
the sanctuary. The purpose is to enable us to set a different
mood and a slightly different form to our service. Rabbi Breger
Hall is set up as a Sanctuary: the chairs are placed in the
pattern of a horse-shoe (concentric semi-circles) around a
Readers Stand and the Aron Kodesh is placed against
the Eastern Wall. This enables us to see and hear each other
during the course of the service
and to find our worship
strengthened by our sense of togetherness. |
