The following are ongoing and regularly scheduled events held every month
in addition to Minyan, Mincha, Kabbalat Shabbat and Shabbat Services.

Every first Friday

Tot Shabbat Service & Dinner
   Service 6:00 pm; dinner 6:30 pm
   For families with young children to
   welcome the Sabbath with stories &
   songs. Reservations required for dinner
   only; vegetarian option available.

Ma'alot Minyan:
   Another Opportunity for Prayer

   9:30 am
   Member-led egalitarian service that 
   concludes in time to join with those in
   Sanctuary Service for Kiddush.
   Open to the community.

Every second Saturday
(September thru May)
Shabbat Family Experience
  9:30 am
  Creative, interactive & upbeat Shabbat
  celebration that incorporates family-
  themed activities.
  Open to the community.
Every third Saturday
K'Ton Time
  10:30 am
  A 20-minute family service that includes
  songs, prayers, stories & games; a kid-
  friendly kiddush; playground time for the
  kids & schmoozing time for parents.
  Open to the community.
Every fourth Saturday
Junior Congregation
  A Service For Kids ... Led By Kids
  10:30 am
  Young people have the opportunity to be
   led in prayer by their peers, to engage in
   prayer in their own environment, and to
   strengthen bonds among themselves.    Service includes its own special
   kiddush. Open to the community.
Every Shabbat
afternoon
Torah Study
   One hour before Mincha
   For beginners & scholars alike, informal
   discussions of weekly Torah portion.
   Open to the community.
Every other Sunday

Kadima USY
  12:15 pm
  United Synagogue Youth group for 4th
  through 6th grades.

  Informal learning experience; bring-your-

Tuesdays & Thursdays thru July 24, 9 to 11 am
Open to the public, this class for children 6 to 24 months in age and their parent(s) is fun and informative, with age-appropriate activities and playground time for children; and social time for parent(s). Snack provided. $6 per session. For more information, contact lynne@caiaz.org.

"Pillar of Fire"
film series continues
Sundays thru August 3, 7:00 pm
Free film series that relates the drama of the Jewish people's return to Zion and the establishment of the State of Israel. This extensive production features rare documentary footage collected from more than 30 archives and private collections throughout the world, as well as many eyewitness interviews. The series portrays the Jewish-Arab struggle for Palestine, persecution of Jews in Europe, the war of 1948 and David Ben-Gurion's Declaration of Independence. Click here for more information.

K'Ton Time
Saturday, July 19, 10:30 am
A family service your kids will love! This 20-minute service includes songs, prayers, stories & games; kid-friendly kiddush; playground time for kids & schmoozing time for parents. Then we join the main congregation for the end of sanctuary services & kiddush. K’Ton Time is geared to families with kids ages 1 to 6, but every family is welcome.
