Special Kabbalat Shabbat Service for young families to welcome the Sabbath with stories & songs.
Summer Shul
continues
Saturdays through August 14, 9:00 am
Shabbat Service is moved into Rabbi Breger Hall instead of the sanctuary. The purpose is to enable us to set a different mood and a slightly different form to our service. Rabbi Breger Hall is set up as a Sanctuary: the chairs are placed in the pattern of a horse-shoe (concentric semi-circles) around a Reader’s Stand and the Aron Kodesh is placed against the Eastern Wall. This enables us to see and hear each other during the course of the service … and to find our worship strengthened by our sense of togetherness.
