Women's League/Sisterhood of CAI

Women's League is an inter-generational organization where members can meet some incredible ladies, feel good about helping others, and have great learning and social opportunities - all while financially supporting the youth of our synagogue and perpetuating Conservative Judaism. We encourage a sense of belonging and offer a variety of programs. New synagogue members are entitled to a one year free membership; otherwise, annual membership is $36.

Paid members enjoy:
• E-mail blasts
• Admission and discounts to various events throughout the year
• The paid-up annual Membership Brunch and more!

For more information about CAI's Women's League/Sisterhood, please contact Evelyn Sigafus at esigafus@aol.com.

The Women's League Judaica Gift Shop, located within the administrative wing of CAI, is well-known for its wide array of Judaica, both traditional and whimsical. A wonderful selection of cards, gifts, ritual items, invitations, books, games and jewelry is available for all occasions. All proceeds from Gift Shop sales enables Women's League to support our preschool/kindergarten, religious school, USY, college outreach, and other youth activities.

Men's Club of CAI

Men's Club provides educational, social and communal service for all members of the synagogue by creating and implementing programs to involve Jewish men in Jewish life. Monthly Sunday breakfast meetings offer delicious food, excellent speakers and fellowship. "Hearing Men's Voices" is a series of programs provided by the Federation of Jewish Men's Clubs to enable men to discuss issues that men frequently do not talk about. Fellowship Night includes a general meeting at the synagogue, followed by dinner and sports viewing at a local nearby restaurant.

Complimentary first year membership; thereafter annual membership is $40. Click here for a Membership Form.

For more information about CAI's Men's Club, please contact Lew Crane at catsfan1997@cox.net.

Havurot of CAI

Getting to know people in a large congregation can be intimidating for some people. A Havurah is an easy way to become acquainted with others who have similar interests. Each Havurah usually consists of 6 to 12 couples, families or up to 24 individuals who meet on a regular basis to celebrate Jewish life. The group decides what kind of activities in which they would like to participate. Some activities involve children, others do not. Either way, a Havurah allows synagogue members to make friendship connections within the larger congregational family as a member of a smaller group. Each Havurah plans its own social, educational, and spiritual activities to meet the interests and needs of the group. There is no membership fee to participate in a Havurah. Click here for a Havurot Interest Form.

For more information about CAI's Havurot, please contact Mary Marcus at mgmphd@msn.com.
