A multidimensional, intergenerational organization, we hope to meet the complex needs of today’s women, while maintaining our goal of perpetuating Conservative Judaism. We support our congregation, various Conservative educational institutions and the State of Israel. Our emphasis is on the love of family, mitzvot, and the Jewish people. Throughout the year, we share talents and skills; encourage a sense of belonging to our members; offer a variety of programming; and sponsor special interest groups. The Women's League Judaica Gift Shop, located within the administrative wing of CAI, is well-known for its wide array of Judaica, both traditional and whimsical. A wonderful selection of cards, gifts, ritual items, invitations, books, games and jewelry is available for all occasions. All proceeds from Gift Shop sales enables Women's League to support our preschool/kindergarten, religious school, USY, college outreach, and other youth activities.

Congregation Anshei Israel's Men's Club provides educational, social and
communal service for all members of the synagogue. Monthly Sunday breakfast meetings offer delicious food, excellent speakers and, most importantly, fellowship.

The Congregation Anshei Israel Seniors are an active and vibrant group ages 55
and up. The group enjoys monthly meetings that include professional-quality entertainment. Refreshments are served after each meeting allowing time for personal socializing.

Annual membership for Seniors is $18 per person; Guests are always welcome for $3 per person, per event.

An active group for couples in which one member of the pair is between the ages
of 55 and 70ish, the Couples Connection meets once a month. Group members share the planned activities on a rotating basis so every member has an opportunity to get involved. Events include holiday celebrations and fun, social and cultural get-togethers.

There is no membership fee to participate in Couples Connection.

Getting to know people in a large congregation can be intimidating for some people. A Havurah is an easy way to become acquainted with others who have similar interests. Each Havurah usually consists of 6 to 12 couples, families or up to 24 individuals who meet on a regular basis to celebrate Jewish life. The group decides what kind of activities in which they would like to participate. Some activities involve children, others do not. Either way, a Havurah allows synagogue members to make friendship connections within the larger congregational family as a member of a smaller group. Each Havurah plans its own social, educational, and spiritual activities to meet the interests and needs of the group.

There is no membership fee to participate in a Havurah.
