Monday, May 30 Memorial Day

  • Administrative Office Closed
    No Mah Jongg Play, B'nai Mitzvah Class or Choir Rehearsal 

Tuesday, May 31

  • Summer Camp for Kids – May 31-July 22 (no camp June 13 & July 4)
    All children 2- to 6-years-old are welcome! Enjoy water play, creative movement, stories, playground time, singing with a music specialist, arts & crafts, and weekly guests (with wildlife, music, instruments, theatre, movement, puppets and more). Secure facility with modern, park-like shaded playground. Snacks provided. M-F; Full days 9:00am – 3:00pm; Half days 9:00am – 12:30pm. Before/After Care 8:00-9:00am and/or 3:00-4:00pm daily for $6 per child, per hour. Call for pricing and space availability. (Discounts offered for CAI members.)   • Talmud on Tuesday, 6:00pm
    The Talmud is an extensive compilation of teachings and opinions of thousands of rabbis over the centuries, covering matters of Jewish law, ethics, philosophy, history, customs, and more. We are currently studying Tractate Megillah. Learn about the law and lore in the Talmud with Rabbi Robert Eisen as we dig deep into living Judaism. 

Wednesday, June 1

  • "Gentle Chair Yoga" – Wednesdays, 9:30-10:30am
    Focus is on increased balance, strength and flexibility in a supportive group setting. Meditation and deep relaxation at end of each class leaves participants with positive healing energy and uplifted spirits. Dress comfortably.   • Weekday Torah Study Group, 11:00am
    Informal and lively study discussion led by Rabbi Robert Eisen. Open to all. No charge to attend.

Friday, June 3

  • Tot Shabbat, service 5:45pm; dinner 6:15pm
    Special Kabbalat Shabbat Service for young families to welcome the Sabbath with stories and songs, followed by kid-friendly Shabbat dinner. $25 per family (2 adults & up to 4 children). Additional adults $10 per person. RSVP by May 31 to Kim.

Saturday, June 4

  • Shabbat Afternoon Torah Study, 5:15pm
    Open to all, this is an opportunity to become more involved in “living Judaism.” Lay-led. No charge to attend.
